Having been the producer of Children’s Hour for part of my career ​I am very proud of my granddaughter Iona for writing an educational, fun book for children - EINSTEIN THE PENGUIN.

Iona Rangeley has just graduated with a BA in English literature- and maybe “Einstein the Penguin” is not the most likely academic follow on! She has always loved writing children’s stories and her debut novel “Sam and the Pig“ was written when she was only five years old. On a school trip in Year 8 she made a £5 bet that she would be published in her early twenties, and unfortunately she can’t afford to lose that kind of money at the moment.

The story is very unusual and full of delightful “laugh out loud” humour, and memorable descriptions such as “big bossy snowflakes"
